MasterMac2000 offers a range of high-quality pneumatic cylinders that comply with international ISO standards. This ensures compatibility and reliability. Our KE series cylinders (previously referred to as K or KD series) meet all specifications for ISO 6431 and VDMA 24562 standards. allowing for complete interchangeability.
Designed for Demanding Applications
Our KE cylinders have been engineered to perform smoothly even under demanding conditions. The mechanical buffer seals are designed to absorb energy impacts without compromising the seals. This feature enables higher operational speeds while improving cylinder lifespan. Unlike competitors that use standard magnets, KE cylinders use flexible plastoferrite magnetic rings ideal for detecting stroke position at high speeds without fatigue.
The floating cushion seals provide bubble-tight sealing even under side loading, capturing maximum air to deliver precise deceleration at the end of each stroke. Synthetic rubber shock absorbers in the end caps reduce mechanical stresses and noise levels below 50dB, assisted by low friction seals and wear rings.
Robust Construction for Reliable Operation
All KD cylinder barrels utilise non tie-rod extrusion construction up to Ø160, with larger sizes using aluminium tubes and steel tie-rods. This robust barrel design, coupled with die-cast aluminium end caps, ating temperature is 80°C with a minimum of -20°C.
The inlet ports have full-bore access for rapid acceleration without delivers reliable performance even in demanding industrial environments.
The self-compensating piston and cushion seals are made from a wear-resistant nitrile rubber compound suitable for lubricated or non-lubricated air applications. The double lip seal design automatically adjusts to minimise leakage caused by seal wear.
Specifications
Our KE cylinders are available in bores from 32mm up to 200mm, with strokes up to 3000mm. They can operate between pressures of 1.5-10bar using compressed air filtration of 50μ or better. The maximum operfailures. This high speed design, combined with optimised cushioning properties, make our KE cylinders suitable for applications requiring fast cyclic speeds.
